I believe you are correct. Even More so after his performance tonight.
If the economy doesn’t improve and unemployment is still above 8 percent I have a hard time believing Obama will “walk away” in the election. He might do so in California and New York, but I’m not so sure he will do so in Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina, or Ohio and many of the others that GWB carried in 2004.
