But go to the SS threads on FR. Go to you local diner. Ask Seniors what they think about someone messing with SS. The view is that it is THEIR money, and anyone who touches it will die.
Anecdotal evidence is meaningless, and without hard data, this is purely anecdotal.

There is a reason Rove said this. There is a reason that few candidates seeking election or reelection will touch SS.
The polling numbers are such that it is a loosing issue.
