Yeah, you're most probably correct, and I hate it.
What bothers so many here (including me) is that Palin did next to nothing to put herself in that position.
In fact, it's quite the opposite. Palin was, and is, a breath of fresh air. She is just the kind of citizen-politician that the Founders envisioned. When I saw her acceptance speech for the VP nomination, I knew I was looking at a natural heir to Reagan.
But the McCain machine damaged her. And then the MSM damaged her. Too high a hill to climb now. It's very unfair to Palin, and it's unjustified, but it's just too high a hill.
I agree with you totally. If she runs it will be a disaster as she will split the conservative vote and we’ll have Obama for 4 more years. Sorry I’m not addicted to the Palin cult of personality as so many here are.
