Just the other day, my 1911 ‘45 jumped out from it’s position by the bed, cocked itself, and was preparing to off aimed at my television - just before I was able to tackle it, wrestle it to the ground, and remove the magazine and loaded cartridge.
Darned guns, can’t trust ‘em.

One might expect such behavior from the illegal guns that keep bad company. But it’s shocking to imagine a “legal” handgun acting that in that manner.
