Unions were all but dead not long ago, and if they stay their present course they will be again. It needs to be made clear to the public that unions don’t care about the average American. They only care about themselves. They don’t care if they tank the entire nation, as long as they ‘win’.

Any employer that employs Hoffa union workers should inform workers that all employees must not use violence in accordance with Mr. Hoffa’s statements. They can also have them sign a statement disavowing violence as advocated by Hoffa.

This was a very bad move. The unions have been trying to unionize more educated workers over the last decade or so and have had very little luck. With this statement, they have eliminated any new winning union elections in the areas they have been working.
The statement also builds support for eliminating public employee unions. Do you want thugs running your government?
If I were Boehner, I would take the opportunity to tell Obama to find another forum to speak at on Thursday and just send us a written copy of your plan.
