If I remember correctly...the ‘rank and file’ of the Teamsters were pretty evenly split in their support of ‘W’. I can’t imagine that the fine job OBozo has done would cause that split to lean any more left than it already has.

Yes, Hoffa and most of the other Obama surrogates, are not speaking for the entirety of their rank-and-file, any more than Obama ever speaks for the entirety of the American People. Hoffa and Obama DO speak , with one voice, however, for all those CEO types and their organized bureaucratic structures who see THEMSELVES as the direct beneficiaries of an Obama re-election. They couldn’t care less about jobs, the lack of which will always be someone else’s fault.
They care about maintaining their positions of power, the money flow into their institutions and from their institutions, and the cozy symbiosis they’ve always enjoyed.
And even at this late date, with their power and influence waning, they still envision a brighter day when they will ASCEND into am even bigger power relationship-—it’s positively delusional at this point.
