Sarah is ‘WE The People’ and always has been. Let’s not split hairs because of one quote from Perry last week - let ‘the record’ speak.
I don’t think I was splitting hairs — words and slogans often mean more than they should but they are important nonetheless - and I was simply saying that I think Perry has (perhaps temporarily) captured the momentum with a much clearer anti-government message than anyone else is projecting. And I think his “inconsequential” comment is at the heart of his current effectiveness.

If she hits a home run with her crony capitalism speech this weekend (and crony capitalism is one of my hot buttons) I might be writing tomorrow how she has recaptured the big mo. But as of today, Perry has it and I was simply giving my theory as to why.
