By the way, did you know that Queen Elizabeth II visited Boston during the American Bi-Centennial Celebrations in July of 1976. The Governor of Massachusetts at the time (?) was speaking from the Old State House balcony with QE II at his side. He presented her a check in the amount of the tax that would have been paid if the patriots had not disposed of the tea from the ship into Boston Harbor. It was made known later that the British Government never cashed the check!
