"Sixty-one percent (61%) of voters say the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate is not qualified to be president. Twenty-eight percent (28%) disagree and say she is qualified for the job, while another 11% are not sure. These views are largely unchanged in surveys since June of last year."

"But as in most questions about Palin, there’s a noticeable partisan divide. A plurality (48%) of Republicans says she is qualified for the White House. Eighty-nine percent (89%) of Democrats and 55% of unaffiliated voters say she isn’t."

"Thirty-nine percent (39%) of voters nationwide hold at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Palin, with 12% Very Favorable. Fifty-eight percent (58%) view her unfavorably, including 40% with a Very Unfavorable opinion."

The press have been single-mindedly gunning for Sarah for years, inasmuch as she represents - perhaps more than any other candidate in memory - normal, decent American values.

Such values are now anathema to the congregation of misfits, con artists, and hustlers which constitutes the Left.

This “survey” is half fiction and half manufactured ill will.

If every American sat down to watch “The Undefeated”, those “unqualified” numbers would shrink to however many leftist Independents and Democrats were willing to lie to the pollster. Bob

First, 100% of me believes that entirely too many people use public opinion polls as a substitute for thinking for themselves and reasoned argument.

Second, how’s that work? If she gets in, either these guys can make the sale to a majority of the GOP primary voters that they’re better than she is, or they can’t. If they can, especially if she melts down and proves the wacko idiot diva caricature wasn’t really a caricature, they win, she loses, it’s all fair and square, and we unite and fight the general. No harm done (or if there is, it’ll be by that candidate, not her). I don’t think that’s going to happen, at least not that she’s going to melt down, I’m just putting that up for the sake of the argument. If not and she wins the nomination and wins the general...no harm done. If not and she wins the nomination and loses the general...that means these other guys (and Bachmann) lost to the loser. If they couldn’t make the sale against her, how were they going to make the sale against Teh Awesome? What harm would she have done to the GOP that they wouldn’t have made worse? Personally, I think trying to bigfoot her out of this thing causes more damage and ill will than backing off and letting her run or not as she decides.

You can interchange “DC establishment” with that GOP. Of course she’ll damage the GOP, and it’s about damned time someone did.

A Sarah Palin presidential victory would hurt the establishment GOP but it would

Rescue the country and the restore the Reagan Republican party.

The people polling against Sarah Palin are not much different than the Democrats polling for Obama. They are the ones who CRAVE power and don’t want to lose their hold on it. It must suck to be them.

It’s a trash poll, but if you accept the results as something real, then consdier that the GOP has lashed itself to the RINO train for years, and therefore deserves to be hurt.

The current GOP hates conservatives.

60% Say Palin Run Would Hurt the GOP

Well, yeah.
I have no doubt Ubanga fears Perry a whole lot more than he fears Palin. This White House would party hearty if Sarah got the nomination.

I hope that this poll is right. The gop is *not* a conservative political party, so why would I care what happens to it?

These polls will make amusing reading On January 20, 2013 as we watch Palin’s oath taking; they should do some more...
