Had a conversation similar to that with a screwball last week. I was slack-jawed astounded at how ignorant this guy was, didn't understand the difference between income and accumulated wealth, along with a whole host of other tax related facts. It was mind boggling. And this is someone that has no qualms about expressing his “opinion” on all these matters. I told him that he needs to spend some time doing some research about the US tax code before he opens his mouth.
As I drove away, it dawned on me that the real travesty is that this guy probably votes in every election!
