“I wonder what might be the chance that CA could go Republican in the Presidential Election? It went for Reagan in ‘80 (but he was from CA).” NOT A CHANCE! California is NOT the same Place as it was as recentley as 1990. Too many givers have given up and left the once Great state to the takers. SAD!
I don’t know why Democrats in California feel any *politcial* imperative to do anything about the economy. With government employees, people getting free goodies from the government, and culturally liberal snobs on their side, the Dems have California locked up.
The Republican Party in the Golden State is brain dead, controlled by a bunch of yuppie politcal consultants on the corporate payroll.
The voters in Detroit and DC kept on electing incompetent and corrupt Democrats even though their cities were rapidly decaying and declining. Californians will do the same.
