Jury unable to reach verdict in killing of gay student Larry King

A jury has been unable to reach a verdict in the murder trial of Brandon McInerney, the 17-year-old accused of shooting a gay classmate to death in 2008.

The jury began deliberating Friday, weighing eight weeks of testimony in a trial that included nearly 100 witnesses. Many of those testifying were students and teachers at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard who saw tensions on campus rising after 15-year-old Larry King began coming to school dressed in makeup and girl's boots.

McInerney, then 14, shot King twice in the back of the head in a school computer lab on Feb. 12, 2008. The prosecution says it was a calculated murder carried out in part because McInerney was exploring white supremacist ideology and didn't like homosexuals.

Defense attorneys painted a different picture, that of a bright but abused 14-year-old who snapped after being sexually harassed by King.

The trial was followed closely by gay-rights groups that have fought hard to protect gay and transgendered students from campus bullying. But as the weeks of testimony rolled on and a more nuanced portrait emerged of what was happening at E.O. Green in the weeks before the shooting, it also raised a host of thorny questions.

At 14, having a queer bully after you is more than just “teasing”. It is humiliating. And the school allowed it in the name of political correctness.

This raises a very interesting future issue.

When a heterosexual man goes to a bar hoping to meet a woman, his overall intention is to use his limited resources of time and money to attract a woman.

If he sees what he *thinks* is a woman, who is in reality a transsexual, either a man just wearing women’s clothing, or a man who eventually wants or is partially through a sex change operation, and if that transsexual is a homosexual—if that transsexual *does not* identify themselves as a male, they are committing an act that could be called “fraud”.

Fraud exists when someone uses false pretenses to obtain money or other consideration, including sex, from another person. It is not just a “white lie”, or “everybody lies about sex” situation, but an act of *theft*.

And I will add, even if a man has been fully transformed into having what appears to be a female body, they will be sterile, no longer able to reproduce, which is the entire purpose of marriage, NOT JUST SEX.

So, in a situation like this, which is common, of attempted *theft*, the response of the victim needs to be considered.

If you were at a bar, and a pickpocket took your wallet, and you caught them doing it, what would be the limits to the amount of violence you could reasonably use to detain them for the police?

But there is a problem there, as *right now*, there is no criminal recognition of transsexual fraud, so there is no punishment for someone who commits such an act, *unless* their victim takes it upon themselves to punish them.

This creates an interesting situation.

If a heterosexual man goes to a bar to meet women, and instead meets up with a transsexual who *identifies* himself as a transsexual, then that heterosexual man has absolutely no right to physically assault that transsexual. They have lost neither time nor money, so should just move on.

However, if a heterosexual man meets with a transsexual who pretends to be a woman, lying to him for the purposes of obtaining consideration, or even some type of sex, and the heterosexual man at some point realizes that they have been deceived, it should not be any surprise that he gets violent with the imposter.

It is *not* a “hate crime”, caused by “homophobia”, it is a “reaction to crime, crime”. He has attacked a thief who has tried to steal from him.

From this viewpoint, anything in his background that would contribute to a violent response on his part is legitimate as mitigating factors, or reasons why he did not “just walk away”. Someone may just as well choose to “just walk away” from an attempted pickpocket. But many will not.

Back in my day bullying had a higher threshold than just verbal banter that someone didn’t like.

Physical violence, petty theft, destruction of property, public humiliation, dominance displays, etc, etc.

From the reports the homo got the better in a verbal exchange - he teased homo - homo teased back - he got a gun and cowardly shot homo in head from behind.

Oh, but he was abused by his father - so that makes it all OK - in liberal logic land.

Does teasing excuse murder? Do unwanted sexual advances (assuming the homo teasing was actually serious) excuse murder?

I remember a case of a young girl being teased, beaten, abused, groped, her clothes torn etc - on a school bus. Would she have been justified in shooting from behind in the head her assailants?

You seem pretty mentally disturbed to me also.

Wonderful level of discussion you achieved there, kiddo. I can see you'd be a great fit for a job in a police state. You've already said that guns should be removed from the proximity of anyone who is disturbed, and now you say you can identify what constitutes a "mentally disturbed" person from a few short postings.

Yes, kiddo, you'd be the head of the class in the Jack-Booted Thug Federal Police Academy.

It was not and never was about rights or bullying.
But they’ll never admit that.

There's a lot of disinformation going on in this thread. My guess is because everyone's reading the article at face value.

McInerney was the aggressor, teasing the effeminate King for weeks and vowing to "get a gun and shoot" him, according to a prosecution brief. Multiple students provided accounts of a growing hostility between the two boys, the document shows.

Their dispute ended in tragedy a year ago today when McInerney allegedly armed himself with a .22-caliber revolver and shot King in the back of the head twice in an Oxnard classroom as the school day was beginning.

"In the days before the shooting, the defendant tried to enlist others to administer a beating to Larry," Deputy Dist. Atty. Maeve Fox wrote in a "statement of facts" filed with the brief. "When that failed for lack of interest, he decided to kill Larry."

http://articles.latimes.com/2009/feb/12/local/me-king-mcinerney12

Then Newsweek reported that several days before the attack that the kid had asked McInirney to be his Valentine.

**************************************

Our public schools should not be inhabited by those who promote the homosexual agenda. Adults should protect children from predators, regardless of age.

They should.
But today school isn’t about learning, it is about indoctrination.
And some of those ‘adults’ have a vested interest in perverting the children themselves.
Look at the articles on the Naughty Teacher ping list.

It is extremely sad that we are talking about two kids who adults failed in SO many ways. Homosexuality is part of the marxist agenda. It works to use it to tear at the moral fabric of a nation and destroy it’s children. In this case it has destroyed two directly, and untold numbers of kids at the school.

I didn't accost them (as the shooter did, according to witnesses, for weeks before the incident), nor did I lose in verbal sparring battles, nor did I decide to avenge my shame by a cowardly execution style murder.

I left them alone.

Do you think a queer responding to your teasing of them by saying you were their boyfriend makes cold blooded murder justified?

The shooter was such a punk coward that he WANTED to beat up the homo, but only if he could get a bunch of other kids to beat him up with him.

Apparently a one on one fight was way too much for this despicable little coward.

Sh=t happens. But there is an action item, big and glaring in this case. The ADULTS in this school and the community failed to provide a safe and stable education environment for the kids, and in the case of the now dead boy, they failed to provide him needed moral guidelines.

“The 14 year old shooter seems to have been placed in an intolerable situation;”

This is completely true even just on the psychological level. A 14 yr old can be very shaky in his sense of self, his sense of manhood. Anyone taunting boys this young with deviance that attacks their unformed sense of self is playing with matches in a gasoline filled room. There WILL be more such killings since society no longer protects EITHER of the young men in this story. Hell, society no longer even understands the threat; (which is at odds with PC). Sad.

I left them alone.

Homosexuals of any age no longer leave anyone alone. They've been "empowered". Don't remember "We're queer, we're here, we're in your face". They mean it.

The destruction is the goal.
But they call it ‘progress’.
Remember how we got laughed at for pointing out that they’d push to normalize pedophilia, beastiality, or other such?
Well, the APA is trying to normalize pedophilia using the exact same language they used to normalize homosexuality.
The end goal and result is destruction.

And too many idiots want to excuse it, defend it, or otherwise ignore it.
