The murders in Mexico are committed by the drug cartels. Approximately 90% of the drug cartel’s profits come from sales to US dealers, who then sell the drugs to the end users. The drug cartels only exist because drugs are illegal in the United States, and most of their profits come from marijuana, because most people in this country are not stupid enough to do things like heroin. If they were not criminalized, we would probably have more addicts, but we would not have the gang violence, and Mexico would not have its thousands of murders per year (hundreds of which have been of innocent victims with no connection to drugs). This is a bipartisan problem.
Mexico has an addict population that is approximately half the US addict population. I think your 90% figure bears re-examination. Especially since invader addicts/users are contributing to the numbers used against We, the accused.
