Bull Flop! Even if drugs were made totally legal in America the drug lords in Mexico would still kill each other and the citizens of both countries to gain top dog status.

The drug lords in Mexico would kill American citizens to gain top dog status? How exactly do you figure? They're going to waste ammo on Americans that haven't done anything to them to prove how tough they are?

Even if they made them legal in both countries the drug lords and manufacturers would be fighting like animals to be the king of the hill.

Fighting over what? While I'm sure some of them would switch to other crimes, like kidnapping for ransom (which they already do sometimes), that is easier to deal with than smuggled drugs. Still, we wouldn't have the gangs here in America shooting each other in the street over drug turf. Do we have any tobacco wars? How about alcohol wars? Have you ever heard of Budweiser employees killing Miller employees? Me neither.

You really believe that if drugs are legal, it will take the profit margin out of them when it concerns the people who deal drugs? The gangs and criminals will still make money. It won’t stop them one bit. You’re fooling yourself with that idea. Prohibition of alcohol has been repealed since the 20s yet there are still people making illegal moonshine and selling it.

The idea it will make drug gangs go away is a fairy tale. Just as it didn’t make crime go away in Amsterdam. Now Amsterdam has realized the ignorance of their ways and are prohibiting the sale of drugs to tourists.

They are shooting Americans now who aren’t doing anything. You obviously know little about the motivations of criminals. Put down the bong and open your eyes to the real world.
