To address a couple of your points, yes, it’s true, your rights end where mine begin. There is a bubble around me that is my inviolable personal space where you and your bullbleep may NEVER intrude, ever. YOU may NOT tell me or anyone else what we may, or must or must not put into our own bodies, period. Since YOU cannot, NEITHER can you ask someone else to do it FOR you. In our God-given system of government by and with the “consent of the governed,” NO ONE can give consent for government to do to ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL what the first person MAY NOT RIGHTLY DO HIMSELF. EVER. If YOU can’t do it to me, you cannot, except to your great peril, hire government to do it FOR you. Is THAT clear enough?

Second, while I am personally a CONSTITUTIONIST, I have far less heartburn about the SMALL GOVERNMENT, Constitution-loving folks here who call themselves “libertarian” than I do with some jackbooted slug like you who would trade MY liberty for your ILLUSION of security, someone who’d throw me under the bus in a second, on even the SUSPICION of me thinking for myself and casting doubt on the party line. Also, were I you, I’d look at my signup date, my posting history and JimRob’s House Rules, then ask myself why I’m still here if I’m such a threat to Conservatism and so far removed from the guiding principles of Free Republic.

Despite your denial, you ARE afraid of freedom... because you’d have to learn to think for yourself, to make real choices and decisions and live with their consequences. It’s just frightening to you to think that someone, somewhere intends to go his own way and rely on HIS mind, HIS God-given rights and HIS own decisions, made through his God-given FREE WILL. You are a PACK animal, part of a herd. It galls you that there are folks like me, even like Jim, who have and USE our minds, the way God intended. We enjoy like-minded company, but in the end, WE decide, as we must, as human beings, based on our understandings, our moral codes (FREELY chosen, by the way) and our relationship with our Creator, what we will do with our lives and property. We find it much more desirable to, if needs be, die on our feet than live on our knees, bowing and scraping to some slug holding a whip in his hands.

No, studly, you may THINK (or feel or emote) you’re unafraid of “freedome” [sic] but where the rubber meets the road, you’d piss your britches if you truly HAD to stand on your own and not have someone to make your decisions and choices for you. In fact, you make my case for me with your feeble attempts to rat out, to snitch on me and on philman_36. You NEED an authority figure, someone to give you a pat on the head, to let you know you’re somehow “worthy.” Sort of, I imagine, like how George Soros got HIS start, ratting out his countrymen, his own co-religionists. You’re pathetic.
