A vote for amnesty is a vote for a permanent democrat majority.

It really is that simple.

I have no problem with a guest worker policy, really, I don't.

But if some definite restrictions aren't put on guest worker programs, the open borders folks will let in more through those programs than were coming in illegally.

And there are already several guest worker programs.

Perry is in position to lead on immigration policy......

Yeah, but he'll have to give back the monogrammed serape Mexico gave him.

Senor El Perrynista receives a monogrammed serape from Coahuila Gov Enrique
Martinez as a token of appreciation for enacting the Texican Dream Act
(tax dollar giveaways to illegals).

=======================================

REFERENCE Perry signed on to McCain/Kennedy amnesty as early as 2006

The ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006’ is clearly pro-amnesty.......states that it sought to ‘allow long-time illegal immigrants to gain legal status’.

Perry and other border state governors, two Dem liberals and RINO, Arnold "You Wanna Have my Kid?" Schwarzenegger, signed a letter asking Congress to pass it.

Actually the figure is closer to 40 million illegals.

That's a lot of congressional districts. 1 per every 646,946 (average) people.

Yes it is, and as long as tens of millions of them remain inside our borders, that amnesty vote will hang over our heads like the Sword of Damocles.

For a great many of us on FR this is an absolutely uncompromisable deal breaker. No amount of his groupies' shrill pleading and arguing is going to change that.

Fair enough. I disagree with you wholeheartedly, of course, but you certainly have the right to your opinion. So what are you going to do when Perry gets the nomination?

“A vote for amnesty is a vote for a permanent democrat majority....”

A vote for amnesty means that the RinoCracy won’t have to put up with all the noise from Flyover Country about Constitutional Government....

We have congressional districts that exist simply due to the presence of illegals whether they vote or not.

A few years back Candace Miller from Michigan was pushing to exclude illegals from census counts for exactly that reason. If they aren’t legitimately here, they have no legitimate right to representation in congress.

RINO Mitt Perry, along with 3 other border state governors (all liberals), sent a letter to Denny Hastert asking congress to pass "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", aka, amnesty.

The "Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006", was sponsored by liberal RINO Arlen Specter on April 7, 2006. Co-sponsors included Juan McCain, Ted Kennedy & Lindsey Graham -- ALL PRO-AMNESTY senators.

The "Act" clearly sought amnesty for ILLEGALs as you can see in this wording: It proposed to increase some security along the southern United States border with Mexico, allow long-time illegal immigrants to gain legal status, and to increase the number of guest workers over and above those already present in the U.S. through a new "blue card" visa program.

The bill was introduced by Specter in April of 2006 and Perry and his fellow pro-ILLEGAL alien crew signed their letter in August, or just 4-months later.

"Comprehensive Immigration Reform", as we all know is code for 'amnesty'. At a time when Americans were telling congress NO to amnesty, RINO Mitt Perry was saying YES.

Perry’s going to speak out of both sides of his mouth...... He will use the word “secure” the border but is absolutely against ‘closing’ the Border.

He has much to loose by not securing the border for his Industrial/Corporate entities who have ‘paid to play’ and have their cheap border labor.... They need the freedom from the criminal element rampid there which threaten Perry’s plans for the area, already fast moving and operational,...which is a huge plan to integrate his border with Mexico’s.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

Sorry, I misunderstood the target of your statement. Now, to your point: You're saying that, even if he did everything right on immigration from now on, you would never forgive him for what he did before -- correct?

Yes it is. He has personally signed legislation that was specifically designed to be an enabler to illegal aliens.

I'm talking about his entire record on immigration. Is it 100% bad?

So what are you going to do when Perry gets the nomination?

I won't vote for him. I just won't violate my principles on this.

A nation can survive anything besides having it's native population replaced or displaced. Two nukes or even 70 years of communist rule.

But had the Russians brought in 60 million middle eastern Muslims there would have been no Russia when that wall fell.

I look at it this way, it's honorable to stand for your principles, consequences be damned to the point of even death, I can at the least withhold a vote, consequences be damned.

Eventually we will have a Democrat Congress and an open border Republican president in his second term again, and that's when we'll get our amnesty most likely.

It's not going to be on my conscience if that open border Republican is Perry.

It may not be much consolation, but it's a little.

As cripplecreek wrote above, once an amnesty comes, Congress and the Presidency instantly become the California legislature with a permanent and unopposable Democrat majority.

Then the floodgates really open.

For Texas:

the number of total “illegal” immigrants reached 1.65 million last year. It was second only to California, which led the nation with 2.55 million illegal immigrants.

Texas also had the second-highest number of illegal immigrants in the work force with an estimated 1.1 million. Again, second only to California, which had 1.85 million.

.......the figure is closer to 40 million illegals.....

<><> Latino orgs (subsidized with our tax dollars) are putting out vast amts of propaganda——touting their so-called "voting strength." This is patently phony——the voting numbers include huge numbers of fake identities which latinos buy up like they were fritos corn chips. Every identity cashes in on the US gravy train and every identity intends to vote. God knows how many phony id’s voted for Perry.......WITH his knowledge and consent (more below).

<><> Be alert to Perry colluding with the Mexican govt which hopes to have access to billions more in US aid should Perry get elected. Illegals streaming over the border are "voting blocs" to pressure officials for more and more $$$$$aid.

<><> Perry has been sucking up to latinos THE EXACT NUMBER of years he’s had an unbroken record of election wins. Watta coincidence. The tentacles of Texas latinos spreads wide....and candidate Perry knows how to harness the illegal vote.

<><> We need to be very alert as to where Perry’s campaign financing is coming from. It is illegal to accept campaign contributions from foreign government and foreign individuals (unless it goes to Dems and RINOs).

The agit-prop over Perry gets louder and louder. SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ABOUNDS. We need to be very alert to games Perry intends to play——using the so-called “latino vote.”

=============================================

REFERENCE I’m sick and tired of the propaganda WRT the “size” of the purported latino vote. Latinos are known to use multiple identities........that are used to ride the US gravy train.

The Washingtin state rapist had 30 identities.....all included in the phony vote count. Course he won't be casting even one vote from jail. Another latino collected $3 million in UI benefits before he was charged with multiple ID frauds.

Oakland Police Dept Mug Shot: Mishel Caviness, Hayward, accused of
running a large-scale operation devoted to stealing people's identities.

HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA -- A Hayward woman has been charged with numerous felony counts for allegedly running an identity-theft operation that created fake Social Security and California identification cards, checks and credit cards. Mishel Caviness, 40, was arrested after an investigation by Oakland police and the U.S. Secret Service.

The probe began when an Oakland city employee reported in January that someone was fraudulently cashing her checks, according to police Officer Ryan Goodfellow and court records. Caviness was identified with the help of surveillance-camera footage from Bay Area stores, police said.

A search of her apartment on the 21000 block of Foothill Boulevard in Hayward last week uncovered a printing operation capable of making fake checks and credit cards, police said. Also found were 900 blank credit cards, personal information belonging to as many as 1,000 people, blank checks and computers, police said.

Alameda County prosecutors charged Caviness with forgery, identity theft, forgery of a driver's license and grand theft. She has a previous conviction for welfare fraud and told police that she is disabled and unemployed. She is being held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin in lieu of $325,000 bail.

============================================

THE LUCRATIVE PHONY ID BUSINESS---TEXAS STYLE

NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- July 21, 2006 -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, L/E said. The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker.

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the NJ hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution from savage drug cartels operating in the US.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. L/E approached the Texas brothers when they returned to the NJ hotel and questioned them separately. The Texas brothers consented to a search.

Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.

All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 fake Social Security cards. ####

I haven't seen one good thing. He keeps talking about "securing the border" but when he says it, he's probably somewhat dishonest or just wants them to come over through the checkpoints, but in the same numbers as they do now.

I mean if another 20 million Mexicans, Hondurans and Guatemalans come here, but they come through the checkpoints, is that a good thing?

On a fundamental level he doesn't have a problem with flooding America with millions of Mexican peasants, he just wants them to say "howdy" to a Customs agent before they do.
