Thinking you could fool anyone here other than equal nutcases.

Trying to push some lame shi’te like “Perry’s own speeches show he is an apologist for Muslims”, for one.

Being a native Texan, I and many rational thinking others who have no fake axe to grind, know Perry. We also know Perry nor any other politican is ever perfect, but claiming he has ever sided with muslims is a lie right up there with your man ronpaul running a Sex with Perry ad. We know Perry to be the most conservative Governor in Texas history, who has been re-elected 2 times by a majority of conservative Texans.

Now go on back over to DU newby troll.

Well let’s look at Perry’s own words.

“It is a great honor to be in the presence of the Imam of 16 million Muslims around the world, a global humanitarian leader, a man of peace with a pluralistic vision for people around the world, His Highness, the Aga Khan, the 49th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. Your Highness, on behalf of 23 million Texans, and over 600,000 thousand Muslims living in Texas, I extend our heartfelt appreciation for your 50 years of great international leadership. We are delighted to welcome you to the Lone Star State and participate in the celebration of your Golden Jubilee. I am also grateful to the many federal, state and local leaders in attendance tonight. By their presence, these special guests convey the profound respect that exists in the Western World for His Highness’ work and leadership.”

How about bringing Muslim into our schools to bring the Muslim mind set into mainstream thinking?

From the Memorandum of Understanding between The University of Texas at Austin and The Aga Khan University. http://www.scribd.com/doc/62191791/Mou-Ut-Aku-Signed-Copy

1.3 As a result of a mission to the University of Texas at Austin by representatives of the Aga Khan Development Network and the Aga Khan University, ongoing projects were reviewed including the progress and expansion of the Muslim Histories and Cultures Project, and a number of intellectual development areas have been identified for further exploration and include:

liberal arts;
architecture and human settlement;
management, government, public policy and civil society;
economic growth and development;
tourism and leisure
media and communications;
education, science and technology;
continuing education;
health sciences including joint research and training;
human development

2.1 Collaborate on the Muslim Histories and Cultures Project with the aim to expand the implementation of the project to and additional 180 teachers in the Texas School System over the next three years.

How about let’s look at something the curriculum that Perry helped get in the schools teaches.

"The religion that the Prophet Muhammad preached provided his followers an ethical and moral vision for leading a life of righteousness." Perry/Khan curriculum.

Luckily locals are beginning to fight the inclusion that Perry put his stamp of approval on as seen here:

Parents and Christian pastors in the Houston area are angry after a local junior high school forced students to attend what they describe as an indoctrination to Islam. (http://www.onenewsnow.com/Education/Default.aspx?id=129040)

So there ya go slick. Anyone can do a little research with a search and find information of Perry’s cozy relationship with Muslims. From glowingly welcoming them into Texas to getting teaching abut Muslims in the schools Perry is clearly not fighting the spread of Muslims and Islam in Texas or America.

Only the gullible and “native Texans” who don’t pay attention and can be duped to smear anyone who does their research and knows the truth.
