I wouldn’t own wee dogs like that in Alaska, couple of coonhounds and you’re all set, they’ll tree the bear, then you have a great photo op, or if you like, a new rug.

In Golden BC, same thing, person walking their small dog felt a tug, and looked. He was holding one end of the leash, and the other end was in the grizzly’s mouth. He drops his end and walks away (smart move). Living in places like this it pays to have some hounds, or dogs that can stand up for themselves.
