Sarah Palin has not canceled her keynote speech for the Tea Party of Americas Saturday rally in Indianola, Iowa, according to the events organizers. Ken Crow, the founder of the Tea Party of America, told ABC News this morning that he hung up with [Palin's] people five minutes ago and shell be here on Saturday.

This one seems to lie in the lap of the TP organizers, not Palin’s team. There’s only so much control you and your campaign team can have and about all you can do in that situation is pull out. I think they were going that way because as the WaPo article stated there were a number of changes happening right before the gig, and the Palin team was feeling like they were on quicksand. It happens alot.
Nice little indirect observation though, this tempest in a teacup does make it look like she’s in for the win.
A number of posters at C4P have stated that Ken Crow had ties to Perry’s campaign in Texas last year, but I can’t confirm that anywhere...if proven true; that would be huge.
I'll go with 'option 2'...
This head organizer Ken Crow was reportedly a Perry worker at one point. Hmmmmm.
