That is the link to Friday night. There is still a thread for Saturday’s AM final move which this thread reports. We got out to WR a little after 6AM to set up for the 7AM move. From WR, some of us then went directly to Olney for our FReep of the Quakers. Basically, most of us had 2 FReeps within 12 hours and some of us had 3 within 15 hours. It was a long weekend with Irene’s rain starting in earnest in the DC area around 10AM Saturday morning.
[Mr] T
God bless the Freepers. Resolute to the end.
God bless the FReepers for standing tall. You did good.
And God bless the men and women who serve our country.
Thank you for representing all of us so many times at the gates of Walter Reed. God bless all of you.
Kristinn, to you and all others who stood in front of Walter Reed, in rain, sleet, snow, wind, freezing cold, thank you! You, all, clearly demonstrated to our brave military men and women that they are appreciated, respected and loved. God bless each of you for your patriotism and support of our great military and their families. And, may God bless and protect our military and their families.
Can’t express enough my profound appreciation for the dedication the DC Chapter has shown over the years to our wounded service men and women. I’m proud to have had the chance to stand with you a few times over the years! Thank you for your service!
