If you find a racist Tea Party group or member, would you please let me know? My step-mother and father seem to have come to the conclusion that all Tea Partiers are evil extremists out to destroy the blue collar union working man and woman-you know, those poor souls attempting to make a living from THE MAN. My father and step-mother believe we Tea Party members (including me their daughter)are all racist/extremists. But hey, if you allow MSNBC to do your thinking for you, well then enough said.
You know, I live in Indiana and can’t find ANY racists or extremists in the Tea Party! You’d think there would be dozens at least infiltrating my neighborhood. I’m going to call my Congressman Andre Carson and ask him where they live. After all he was in that famous picture taken with Nancy Pelosi, you know the one I mean, it was taken when she was Speaker and the trio of her Carson and one other rep claimed that they walked through the crowd that was demonstrating against Obamacare and got called the “N” word.
Sheesh, Tea Party people. I’m trying but I can’t find anything other than folks of all stripes and creeds worried to death about this country. Is that a cover for their racist/extremist agenda? Must be cause at the last event I attended the opening prayer (GASP!) was led by an African American (he preferred to be called an American who happened to have dark skin color—GASP!).
And the prayer was CHRISTIAN!! (Double, triple GASP!) The meeting then went on to talk about how we needed to get back to Constitutional values and how over-taxed we were. Imagine that extremism! Where is Rachael Maddow? Where is Andre Carson my Congressman? Where is Ed Schultz? What is this country coming to!!!
Okay, sarcasm offically off. Sorry but I needed to vent. Dysfunctional families will do that to a person.
I remember going to the TEA Party rally at the Alamo a couple of years ago, and there was a group of 40 or 50 blacks there with American flags, selling BBQ sausage on a stick. They also had bumper stickers for several Republicans. There were a lot of other blacks in attendance.
I wouldn’t waste my breath if they dont arent knocked over by the double standards. Why is there a “black Caucus”, black television, black history month, black scholarships, black only schools, when there is no white Caucus (the tea-party is “too white”) no white television, no white scholarships, no white only schools. If they are too stupid to get that or accept that because of Cognitive dissonance I wouldnt bother, they sound like these people...
