Hard choices? Sometimes, and he seems to be trending in the right direction. There are no perfect candidates. If we don’t get Perry, we are likely to end up with Mittens. No RINOs. No more tired old Establishment men like Dole, McCain, Thompson, who don't have the energy and enthusiasm to excite people about them. I'd like Palin, but she needs to make her decision soon.

Perry is not a RINO. It would be far more accurate to say he hasn’t been a consistent conservative. Nevertheless, he has been strongly conservative in several areas. For Mittens, there is no evidence of conservatism at all. I prefer Bachmann.
