Oldest trick in the book. Any country that has a news media hostile to the sitting administration can count on this kind of garbage from the ragheads. It works so well because the people question nothing.

During GW Bush’s two terms, it didn’t bother anybody that Saddam with his thousands of tons of WMDs suddenly vanished in 2004 like a fart in the wind. The media constantly bounced between several lines of criticism and couldn’t decide which one to run with. Nearly nobody looked at the schizophrenia of the media and questioned it. Bush’s refusal to defend himself or his policies also helped the media naysayers immensely.

Well said. I want to vomit whenever I hear someone, particularly those who appear semi-intelligent, deny the existence of WMD. The media played their partisan part by perpetuating the, “No WMDs in Iraq” lie.
