Perry, Romney, Cain, etc. have never had to resign in tears from a leadership position when their own favored policy immediately boomeranged ‘gainst ‘em (though many say flippery-fop Romney should have resigned after a year or two of RomneyCare cost increase.) Attorneys scribble, lie, squirm and advise, Governors govern.
