I just checked several data buys off NC and could not find sustained winds of more than about 55 knots,where have the highest winds been reported?

I found one area where the eye had to have crossed since it had a baro of 28.15 and the winds did a 360, but no really high winds?

We’re looking at “ponding on roadways” in New Hampshire overnight and tomorrow...hoping the administration will send a truckload of Bounty our way so we can sop it up.

The beaches have already reopened in most of NC. Just watched the local mayor tell PMSNBC.

Shhhh don’t say that. NOAA wants you to believe their numbers, expect 100 with gusts to 125 in the next update. :P

Those readings were from dropsonde.
