Mark Levin said it right a few nights ago. Rove is working for another candidate, expects Palin will run, but knows she's not announcing on September 3rd. So he has proclaimed to the world that he thinks she will announce on September 3rd and that if she doesn't she will have taken too long and strung the media along past their breaking point. Of course, she has said nothing - the only person speculating is Rove himself (and Dick Morris, who is working for a different GOP candidate). Then, when she doesn't announce on the 9/3, Rove can declare Palin "out of the race". And when she announces later on, Rove will be able to declare that she is too wishy-washy and can't make up her mind, having teased previous announcements (that were completely manufactured by Rove).Palin's people know this is going on and that's why they attacked him. Rove's an establishment skunk and all he's worried about is getting a Good 'Ol Boy in the White House. He's becoming awful close to getting excommunicated, imho - his Eddie Haskell routine is getting old and transparent
She’s been teasing an announcement for far too long to blame Rove for it.
