GWB and all the crap going down with the libs’ 24/7 media hate frenzy...bushitler, chimpy, the rise of the antiwar movement/lib control in DC, et all, is the direct result of him refusing to swing downward and call it for what it was. He himself recognized that mistake in his book.

Like it or not, a person in high places MUST defend themselves or be perceived as weak. A catch 22, but better to err on the side of self defense IMO.

In general, I agree with you on Rove, but not in this particular case. The question is whether simple speculation over whether she is going to run should be dealt with as if it was an attack designed to sabotage her. I find it a bit odd that someone would engage in behavior that invites such speculation and the complain when that speculation comes.
