It is very sad, he is one of a kind. Still, I'm going to hold out some hope and prayers that he will live a long life.

Gonna go out on a limb here, but I think that the new CEO Tim Cook really knows what he’s doing.

As long as he delivers the goods and doesn’t wave it in my face, then who cares.

The sweet victory Jobs has, is the absolutely incredible success of Apple. Gates
stole his ideas and propelled Microsoft into what it is today. To get a great lesson in what happen find the movie, 'Pirates of the Silicon Valley'.
I've always 'pulled' for Jobs just because of the crap that was thrown his way. He's a lib...but there's plenty of us 'conservatives' that pulled for him through the years. I did hear he was put into another slot in the company today. Something like the Chairman...can't remember exactly but it's a position that, if he gets well, he could do something with.

Microsoft owned PCs, but now we’ve shifted to the mobile world, and Apple owns that. Now it’s Microsoft looking up at Apple.

Agree, he is far too young. I hope researchers are able to find a method to diagnose pancreatic cancer earlier and a cure.
I believe that Steve Jobs has the fortitude and self discipline to do whatever it takes to fight the good fight which will allow time and good research to be on his side.

If Steve Jobs had anything to do with his appointment, you're probably right.

To: dfwgator
Yep..and it is sweet justice as far as I’m concerned. Gates is a maggot; I’m just sorry I can’t afford Apple and I’m sorry a good conservative hasn’t blown everyone’s doors off in this field. But it is what it is...

Agree Outlaw Woman. And you're bringing back some bad 80s memories for me personally. My work back then had the best computers around, all Apples with outstanding software. They never crashed. There were no jokes about making late night sacrifices to kick start them after a crash as there later would be with anything created by Gates.
Rumors traveled fast back then about some of Gates' strong armed sales techniques. It was not pretty.
