I will never understand the complete animosity to evolution.
Evolutionists brought it on themselves. They belittled, ridiculed, and hammered anyone who did not conform to their unquestionable belief in the process of evolution. They then overreached and extended their theory into the process of creation. It was taught as fact and used to dismiss religion and God. Decades of education and media saturation promoting this idea gave them the confidence that they were infallible.
Unfortunately, physics and mathematics don’t back up the creation angle and biology and anthropology are still making laps on trying to validate the theory. Like most things, evolution is a complex topic which often gets boiled down to those who consider it fact and those who consider it a theory that is running out of time to prove itself after 100 years. From a historical perspective, the field of science often goes through these types of decade long arguments where the accepted consensus is challenged and replaced by something better.
Actually, the flaming wasn’t too bad. Got about as many in support as against.
