Last one in VA was a 5.8 in May, 1897. Pretty rare event. But excellent excuse for “disaster stimulus” economy and federal “help me” status. In short, a whole lot of woo-woo.

1. Mineral is a very tiny town and there's not many people to talk to.
2. Everyone is at the polls voting in the primaries.
