I don’t troll Sarah Palin threads.

As a matter of record, I’ve posted news articles and composed supportive vanity Sarah Palin threads for years, up to and including the MSM e-mail dump and her bus tour into New England.

Now I am encourageing other Palin supporters to look at Rick Perry as an option.

I didn’t know Sarah Palin threads were open to only Palin for President supporters.

This isn’t your first time, so don’t try to play games with me.

This particular article is an information thread about her announcement.

Again, members can find your Perry threads all by themselves and Governor Palin supporters are not interested in your *moderate* candidate.

We’re TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVES.

LOL! So polishing that turd Gore to make your boy more palatable isn’t working out that well. Had to come over here.

Here’s an old joke you might appreciate. Just substitute Murray Mom in the punch line, you’ll understand it better.

__________________________________________
Three prisoners have been chained to the wall of a dark and dank prison wall with no hope of escape.

To pass the time they told each other every joke they could remember. Over time, weakened by the diet of bread and water, they resort to numbering the jokes and just saying the number instead of the whole joke.

One day prisoner number three hoarsely mumbles, “fifteen”.

The other two remain silent.

Number three is mystified by the lack of reaction.

He asks, “why aren’t you guys laughing? You always laugh at that joke?”.

Number one chimes in, “Yeah, but number two tells it better”.

So to save you guys time and effort, why don’t you all compile your best shots, start your very own PDS thread. Then you can just post a number or hot link without the trouble of all that cutting and pasting and we all can ping you to our responses. We don’t mind helping fellow Freepers out.

You all might even be able to cut back on your meds and sleep better. Ya never know

You would be wise to consult the famous utterings from Yogi Bera before leaping to conclusions about others wishes and intentions. I personally prefer my eggs on a plate instead of my face.

You call what you do “encouraging”? More like persuasion with a ball peen hammer glued to a 2x4.

You got a bad case of PDS. Perry Deification Syndrome.

Maybe you should start a pro-PERRY blog, and pimp that here... or not ;)

I support Palin, but I agree with you. Every candidate’s or potential candidate’s threads have some comments that are perceived as negative. Your comments were quite snarky, but at least you didn’t post your usual Perry lovefest 10,000 word novel taking up all the oxygen in the room.

Is it possible that most of us have looked carefully at all the candidates possible? To blindly back any of them is not in the true spirit of this forum!

As for me, I have practiced this for many years, going all the way back to 1964, and still do! In 2008, I sensed that Ms. Palin was indeed something special, a rare combination of common sense, innate ability, humility, and attractiveness that comes along perhaps once in every generation.

Rick Perry has some of that as well, but to my mind in a lesser degree. As such, he is near the top of my list, and will move up a notch if Sarah should decline to run.

It seems that most great presidents have been at least reluctant or hesitant to take on the awesome responsibility of leading the country.

By the same token, most of the poorest presidents seem to have lusted for it, and would use any means to gain and then hold onto the reins of power.

The situation that our country is in today is such that we cannot afford to turn over those reins to a second best. This is not a horse race where one can get a small payoff for place or show, there is only win or lose.

My money stays on the favorite in this race.

Game On!

Palin threads are Caucus threads without the designation.
