Man I felt that one. Cokedale is about 50 miles as the crow flies from me. The whole house shook. The dogs went nuts. My wife thought a bear slammed against the side of the house trying to get in.

Hello Graneros,

I grew up outside Trinidad near the little Hamlet of Hoehne.

I was at Vermejo Park Ranch @ 7 years ago and fast asleep in one of their cabins when a miniture earthquake hit @ 2am in the morning. It jostled me out of bed and was gone.

I suspect all of the mining for natural gas in the area has created some imbalances????

Take care,

MFO

We have a few acres near Stonewall and drive that section of the Highway of Legends through Cokedale when we go there. Interesting old towns along there.
