Key West politicians evacuate much as they vote ... early and often

We have a true kakistocracy here in the Keys at the city county and state level. Even our State Attorney will have to be screwed into the ground for burial.

11AM update--Irene expected to be a major hurricane while passing east of the Florida peninsula. Keys and FL Gulf coast up through Tampa Bay are outside of the Cone of Death!

LOL Wilma was one mean storm. My first really BAD hurricane, and we thought here in Delray Beach we were out of the woods!
