President Barack Obama, who political experts say will need a win in Pennsylvania to retain the White House, dipped to 35 percent approval among the state's registered voters, according to a Muhlenberg College poll released Friday.
The results come on the heels of a bad week in polls for Obama that showed him first dropping to 39 percent nationwide in Gallup's daily tracking poll. Then another set of Gallup results Thursday showed only 26 percent of Americans approve of how Obama is handling the economy.
These numbers are a huge blow to Obama who won the state handily in 2008, and a significant drop in just a few weeks from when Quinnipiac University polled Pennsylvania voters and found the president with 43 percent job approval.

Very True.
Snowe needs to go
Sorry Pennsylvania but I will never trust you again to vote for what’s best for the country. Murtha??? Nuff said.
And after B. HUSSEIN called you “bitter gun-clingers” you still voted for him in 2008??? Nope, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on you.
PA voting against King Barry? I’ll believe it when I see it.
We The People must expose every one of them and vote them out. We The People must give these arrogant, self-serving Elitists a heads up to start packing now. We must scour the DC sewer and send all of them back to where they were spawned. Vote every single one of them them out in November 2012 and continue to vote them out for the years to come.
35% among REGISTERED voters? Bye bye jug ears.
There is no path to victory for the Democrats that doesn’t include PA, is there? When was the last time a Democrat lost Pennsylvania but still won the Presidency? Was it Buchanan in ‘56 - 1856, that is?
Now the rats are fearing that O’Blowme is taking all the cash and their will be little for the Dummies to run with. How poetic.
Agreed. He’d piss on their head and they would still vote for him.
I think it was 1948 - Truman over Dewey.
A decade? Try right now...LOL! If they do admit it is with their eyes staring at the ground, if they had a tail it would be tucked between their legs.
Answer to my own question...
1948 - Dewey
From 1860 to 1932 PA voted GOP every year except 1912 when it went for Teddy Roosevelt (P) rather than Taft (R) or Wilson (D).
* note I confused myself on Buchanan, of course he won in 1856 and being from PA of course he won his own state. Only Al Gore could lose his own state LOL...
As I recall, Gore lost PA because his overt anti-gun stance was unpopular in the rural part of the state. The GOP should remember this and hammer GunRunner in PA.
My bad... Gore just barely won PA, but it was close.
This week Obama signed an order which will almost make it impossible for white males to get jobs with the federal government[.]
After a quick search, I've found nothing else on this. Did Obama sign such an order and do any of you have any details?
His loyal following is chanting “4 more years” as the Won vacations on the Vineyard.
None of this means anything to Obama. He is without class, manners, graciousness , integrity, honor or shame. Any decent man would be shamed by such a record of his glaring incompetence. But when one is without shame, one can not be shamed. Such a man is Barack Obama.
“He’d piss on their head and they would still vote for him<’’ They’d do that because Obama would have them convinced it was raining.
Old Chinese saying,
“A man without shame can eat waygu beef fo’evah”
No, I am pretty sure Pennsylvania voted for Buchanan. He is the only President to hail from the state.
