what better way for no one to miss her announcement, if she makes an announcement at that rally, than for her to arrive via a hot air balloon?

Did'ya get that coffee yet? ;-)

You can recognize the ‘she's definitely not running’ PDS crowd by the way they walk. With their panties bunched up in a tight little wad, they grimace with each step.

I never have understood that crowd. What on earth are they afraid of?

That Sarah will actually succeed, and go on to do the same things for America that she did for Alaska?
That she'll see to it that corruption in our government is rooted out, and the perpetrators jailed?
That she'll bring back a sense of pride and love of country to our citizens?
That she'll actually do the hard and courageous work of dismantling the unconstitutional and Socialist institutions and mechanisms within our government?
That she'll restore our historic bonds of friendship with our allies?
That she'll apply Ronald Reagan's maxim, "Peace Through Strength"?

She is determined to do all of that and more, so I ask again, what are they afraid of?

And how many 4 or 5 or 6 term senators/representatives were there way back when? What we have now is on a par with what those old patriots went to war against in their day.

Romney and Perry will go after one another and try to leave her alone, but I sure could be wrong about that.

Trying to look at it from the perspective of the average voter, I think those two just might cancel each other out. They're just too similar in many ways (again, from the perspective of the average voter).

Mitt's faults may wind up sticking to Perry through simple association, and vice versa. They both seem to be the type of professional politicians that were prevalent in 20th century big league politics. They seem stereotypical in that way to me.

Nothing about either of them says, "Now" - "New" - "Fresh", etc. The country is dying for a new way forward, and for a leader who will boldly and fearlessly tackle the problems that threaten to destroy us. "Same old - same old" and the old status quo won't play in our present situation. I think the voters are going to give it a pass.

We must temper our excitement with a determination to demand that President Sarah follow the path that leads to smaller government and a return to following the letter of the Constitution.

One of the reasons that millions of people are excited about the prospect of a President Palin, is that for a change, they won't have to hope that she does the right thing, nor will they have to push her to do what's absolutely vital for the health and survival of our country.

For once, we'll have a leader who is in front of the charge, and LEADING the way forward to the restoration of our constitutional republic. That's beyond refreshing to me.

I’m sure Gov. Palin has an inner circle she relies on for support and information. My impression—and it’s only an impression—is that she pilots her own ship. I don’t think she depends on her campaign chairperson or some political handler to feed her issues and speeches.

I believe she’s clear in her mind as to what is wrong in our country today and how to fix it. Running as veep on the McCain ticket and the relentless (although false) allegations against her by demrats and the Alaska GOP have both tempered and schooled her in the ways of the Marxist media.

I’m beyond ready for a conservative candidate who will take on the Marxists and whose beliefs are genuine—not one set of talking points for one group and another set of talking points for another group.

There has long been the Palin/Perry theory here about them working in concert. What better method to take down the boy emperor than to tag-team him the entire way through the primaries and to the Convention? Perry as wingman?

My perception is that Rick Perry broke formation and flew off on his own renegade mission. I think he may have disrupted an earlier, carefully planned strategy, and that is why Palin is suddenly so active.

Observe - Orient - Decide - Act...... she's engaged in the battle that is, not the one that was.

What the Anti-federalists called “consolidated government.” They opposed the Constitution because they thought it opened the door to monarchy. And the fact is that Obama is operating the federal government pretty much as Cameron does the British Government, by fiat, so to speak. Over the years the Congress has by statute delegated enormous athority to the Executive. So les and less does the president have to go back to the Congress for additional authority. The hree thousand page of Obama care will lead to a million pages of regulation.

My fear is that the conservative vote is going to be split between Palin, Perry, Bachmann and Cain which then puts Romney in the lead for many states.

Yes, that is a great concern for us all, but I sense that Cain and Bachmann are nearing the end of their respective bids. Hopefully, Palin can convince Perry to break off his renegade mission and get back into formation.

We will know soon enough. In today’s world it does not take long to raise a huge amount of money apart from that which comes from the traditional supporters.

Which has nothing to do with your charge that the Founders were elitists and my response to that.

Have a nice day.

I blame air-conditioning for some of our troubles, Back in the day, Congress went home for six months of the year.

The Founders were the upper tier of American society. In fact it is laudable that some many of the Founders lost heavily from their involvement in the Revolution. “Our lives, our fortunes, our sacred honor,” wasn’t just rhetoric. Look at the way that Benedict Arnold took after the rebel leaders during his excursions in Virginia.

Read my Post 292 again and quit trying to sell me the liberal view of the Founders. Soap makers weren’t the upper tier of society.
