I’ll put it this way. In this small body of discussion, you’ve gone two ways...judgmental and uncharitable.
Not exactly my style, but...I’ll leave that for you to consider and the worthiness of the two positions, for others to decide.
It’s most uncharitable to allow a bad example be called a great example. Let the good examples be real, and let them be good. Everyone knows people have good and bad parts in what they do.
Murphy Brown, the fictional single mom, was made famous and celebrated as a great example of a modern liberated woman.
Well, that fictional example did a whole lot of bad.
