President Obama can see the writing on the wall: His days in the White House are numbered. This is the real meaning of Texas Gov. Rick Perrys entry into the Republican presidential race. The GOP now has a candidate who can not only defeat Mr. Obama, but crush him.
For months, the mainstream media anointed Mitt Romney as the presumptive front-runner. The former Massachusetts governor is their ideal GOP candidate...
...snip...
Mr. Perry has fundamentally altered that equation - and with it the nature of the campaign. His candidacy has an overriding strength...
...snip...
Mr. Perrys low-tax, high-growth Texas model stands in stark contrast to Mr. Obamas dismal performance. The president has no accomplishments he can run on in 2012. Obamacare is deeply unpopular. The stimulus failed. His reckless borrow-and-spend policies have created a debt crisis. Unemployment is high. The recovery is anemic. Inflation is rising. More than 45 million Americans are on food stamps - a historic record. The economy is spiraling toward a possible depression. Mr. Perry is the anti-Obama: a successful chief executive, who can - and will - get America moving again. In short, he is Mr. Obamas worst nightmare.
This is why the media mandarins must destroy Mr. Perrys credibility. Within days of his entering the race, Democrats are saying the Texas cowboy is too extreme, too radical and too uncouth to be president. Leftists are flagrantly distorting his statements...
...snip...
... But Mr. Perry is easily the most electable conservative in the current field. He will take the fight to Mr. Obama. He will give no quarter and ask for none. And thats why he will win - and win big.

For a minute.
Ah, but can he spell potatoe?
I’m on the wagon.
Ron Paul wears cowboy boots? I thought this was a Perry story?
we need a conservative to break the stranglehold on us
like Michelle Bachman
I had the same reaction. ;-)
that being said. I like what he said about Ben Bernanke. I would say “Day one I would request his Resignation. If he refuses I would physically throw him out of the Federal Reserve Building, Independence be damned!” His independance doesn't give him the right t destroy our currency.
No, bunny slippers.
all cowboy boot, no cowboy?
herman cain would wipe the floor with about everybody except maybe michelle bachmann and sarah palin, given a chance. it is a pitiful reflection on american society that obama’s stunning failures are bringing a new antipathy by white people to the idea of black presidents, rather than a “duh! that’s the last time i’ll fall for a candidate with no pedigree” moment to folks of all colors.
As much as I like Bachman’s message, she has no executive experience and limited experience in the House. In the House, you are one of 435 and have no real responsibility. Very few Reps or Senators have gotten elevated to POTUS.
I am concerned that Perry is out of the northeastern RINO mold, but he is sure talking a good game now.
Great, we’ll move from a Marxist who hates America to a regime of forced vaccinations, sanctuary cities and unfettered boarders.
Thus, the destruction of America will just continue.
Stick a fork in it, this country is history.
LOL. Right on.
Hey Obama;
The author missed something....
The left knows Romney is toast and Rick Perry is his replacement.. BUT:
The next President WILL BE a woman...
palin/perry or bachmann/perry?
Then I say, listen up heah. One declared candidate has elicited a response from the White Hut AND all of the Pravda media.
Governors are required to take a back seat to the Feds on Immigration.
1,200 miles of border that includes rivers, lakes, canyons, arroyos. and PRIVATE property are not conducive to a fence. If you want to talk about building a fence 20 clicks inside Mexico, I am all for it. Texas will NEVER concede 1 inch on this side. Ever.
Nobody promised you a fence. FedGov owes you border control.
Pitching Helicopter Ben on his @ss, is agreed!
