i generally dislike them myself, and rarely use them.

and hummingbird makes good sense, and your post to him is also truly excellent.

and when you meet a Muslim, we can remember,
their religion FORBIDS them specifically,
to even be friends with us.
(and permits them to lie to and deceive us).
their religion has placed us in the “house of war”.

i don’t hate Muslims. and many, are NOT devout,
and don’t know their own religion.
(in the masjid, i was told i knew more about Islam,
than most muslims...)
but i certainly don’t feel guilty for being “Islamophobic”!
