Rep. Allen West (R-FL) told Laura Ingraham tonight on the OReilly Factor that he was the modern day Harriet Tubman.
Allen West:Well I think Laura when you look at what is happening, the laughable hypocrisy is that the big black bus is not going into the black communities. When you have unemployment in the black community, 16.3% in July and it dropped down to 15.9% in the month of August, thats not in the right direction.
So you have this 21st Century plantation where the democrat party has forever taken the black vote for granted and you have established certain black leaders are nothing more than the overseers of the plantation.
And, now the people on that plantation are upset because theyve been disregarded, disrespected and their concerns are not cared about. So Im here as the modern day Harriet Tubman to kinda lead people on the underground railroad away from that plantation into a sense of sensibility.

I’ve liked West ever since that incident with the Iraqi prisoner and the pistol. One shot from West’s pistol right next to the ear of the obstinate prisoner... and he started singing like a canary. Lives were saved.
Yep. That debt ceiling vote and cave in to Boehner did him in. He should have held the line like other Tea Party congressmen. Also, he let Laura Ingrahm goad him into making disparaging remarks about the Tea Party. That was a big mistake. Some may never show him support again for these things.
Seems to be AWOL from the conservative agenda he was sent there to enforce!
So that’s what the odor was
too funny!
Go West America, Go West!
LMBAO I just got a new laptop and I am glad I was not drinking anything.
But 16.3 to 15.9 is actually at least going in the right direction.
The Democrat Plantation is the phrase that I’ve heard Herman Cain use.
You owe me a new screen! And I am starting the march all the way down from Boca to Plantation to claim it! LOL
Unfortunately, the vast majority of the black community is not and probably will never be ready to accept West as a leader in their community.
Things like sacrifice, duty, honor, patriotism and American exceptionalism are all foreign concepts to them.
Thanks!! I have the feeling that he is a good and honorable man.
Yep. And more than a bit too full of himself to boot. Harriet Tubman, indeed. *snort*
