Is it possible that the $1.1 mil is the price for the base Prevost chassis and the all the interior package and armoring that was installed in Tennessee by Hemphill was additional cost?

That sounds more like it. Figure $1.1m for the base bus and then God knows how much to have it up-armored and have all the Presidential toys fitted. I’d be surprised if that thing ended up costing a total of less than $3m.

I would guess that is a very good possibility
Marathon converts them for 1.5 - 2.5 million
