What the timeline proves is that Perry is not a leader of the type we need to save this country. He is a hack career politician who rides a wave that more courageous people set in motion. In the cases where Perry actually acted on his own, the results have often been disasters or examples of terrible judgment--like Gardasil, the Trans-Texas Corridor, the endorsement of Al Gore and Giuliani, the pandering to La Raza and CAIR, etc. etc.
