Over all, I think Perry can beat this lame attack by drumming that he's the guy who improved a credit rating after W, not downgrade one, who created jobs after W, not lost them, who expanded his economy after W not stagnated one. He can sell himself as the guy who followed Bush and didn't FOUL things up.
Not bad. I suppose he could run a rather clever, results-oriented, “problems I inhereted from Bush” campaign as well.
