I want to see Perry and Trump get into a hair fight.
They can call it a quaff off.
Let us HOPE that he differs considerably on our prolific neighbors to the south.
Perry has no conviction.
He said this
Our friends in New York six weeks ago passed a statute that said marriage can be between two people of the same sex. And you know what? Thats New York, and thats their business, and thats fine with me,
And he has also said this
I support constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage and abortion
You are right, youve got to stand for something or youll fall for anything. Perry is a poser.
“I want to see Perry and Trump get into a hair fight.
They can call it a quaff off.”
Too bad all the male Repub candidates aren’t bald.
No problem here ....maybe Bush haters can move to Canada or something
As I understand it he’s firmly pro life.....except for some exceptions.
I'm not even a Yankees fan and I despise him.
Hey Mike, stick to discussing jock straps - in fact put one on your head to cover the growing forehead!
Rick Perry:
As a compassionate state, we know that for our children to succeed, they must not only be healthy, but educated. The future leaders of our two nations are learning their fractions and their ABCs in classrooms all along this border. Immigrants from around the world are being taught in Texas classrooms, and our history is rich with examples of new citizens who have made great contributions.
We must say to everyTexas child learning in a Texas classroom, we dont care where you come from, but where you are going, and we are going to do everything we can to help you get there. And that vision must include the children of undocumented workers.
Thats why Texas took the national lead in allowing such deserving young minds to attend a Texas college at a resident rate. Those young minds are a part of a new generation of leaders, the doors of higher education must be open to them. The message is simple: educacion es el futuro, y si se puede.
He may be pro-life, I don’t know. I think he’ll go whichever way the wind blows. Just look how he’s flip-flopped on the issue of gay marriage.
Go to Midland and tour the house where Bush grew up
Im from Texas and Bush was more Texan than me
Over all, I think Perry can beat this lame attack by drumming that he's the guy who improved a credit rating after W, not downgrade one, who created jobs after W, not lost them, who expanded his economy after W not stagnated one. He can sell himself as the guy who followed Bush and didn't FOUL things up.
One thing the two have in common — they both are of the opinion that Islam is a Religion of Peace.
(The subject of Islam should be brought up when interviewing all presidential candidates. Voters should know their stance on the subject)
“Go to Midland and tour the house where Bush grew up
Im from Texas and Bush was more Texan than me”
Where was he born??
Wasnt it Kenya?
Explain how she can claim to have always opposed increasing the debt ceiling yet signed a Cut, Cap & Balance pledge to do just that?
Explain the farm income she says she didn't get but declared.
Explain the farm subsides she said she didn't get but records show she did.
She has a record of voting no but not getting things done.
She reminds me of another undistinguished legislator/lawyer who ran for president depending on voter's faith.
Thanks, we were talking about it because of Perry’s call for fasting. No one seemed to know for sure, but thought that he might be Catholic.
Didn’t the left try to tie that Hagee guy to Bush, as well?
The only thing they have in common is compassion, class, and hard work.
Perry is his own man.
I wish he would stay here in Texas.
Eva, Protestants fast too.
