This election will be a huge battle and will not be close to an “easy win”.

Yes, but it has now moved into the realm of the winnable. When Obama was maintaining 50% approval numbers there was a sense of hopelessness and futility. We could pick off a senate or house seat, but we weren't going to be able to take out Obama. When having stared at the impossible for two and a half years, only taking on the extremely difficult looks like a picnic.

Good point. But I am just worried about people “taking it easy”. This is a very important election and until Obama gives his concession speech, I will not celebrate. Until the republicans nominate anyone, I will not pay much attention to these polls (yes I know this is an approval poll, but still). Depending on who we nominate, there will be independents breaking to Obama again. We just got to hope it’s not as much as last time.
