I noticed he's been posting other old stories about Perry as well. I guess he thought we wouldn't notice?
If you don't like him, don't vote for him. But don't go around posting old stories like it's todays news.
Maybe they are applying for a position at DU or Daily Kos?
Few things are more relevant concerning a presidential candidate than the bills he signed into law as a sitting governor, whether this year or ten years ago.
You can't get much more lame than pretending such things should be ignored by the voters looking for a candidate to support.
“If you don’t like him, don’t vote for him. But don’t go around posting old stories like it’s todays news. “
Actually, I agree with the above (even if I can’t stand Perry). When old (but valid) stories like these are posted, people should put a comment down to that effect (i.e., or put the year in parentheses).
These ‘old’ stories as you call them are about actions that are still in effect TODAY and aren’t so old!
These ‘Thought Crime’ laws that were signed and endorsed by Perry .. are an indicator of the man’s thinking and are quite appropriate in letting others know about them.
The same goes for the ‘old’ stories on his Illegal Alien stances!
Just because his actions .. and the stories about them are ‘old’ doesn’t mean that the man’s thinking has changed or that what he has done (or Thought) in the past don’t apply NOW, when NOW is an obvious attempt of a Leopard ‘trying’ to change his spots during a Presidential bid!
