“Republicans who win statewide office in states that have been liberal for decades are to be suspected.
Same applies to Romney.”
Agreed, but I would double it for a New England “Republican.”

..Michele Bachmann handed him his head before a live audience and the world—he looked weak—it was only a matter of time...

I think he took himself out. He shot himself in the foot at the debates.

I always thought he looked like a kid in his dad’s suit...suits always looked way too big and his head looked small

Someone may have to do some checking, but I heard that constitutionally he can not be on the same ticket as Bachmann. Which is why they didnt mind trading hard punches at each other.

only problem with that is the longer the RINOs last, the more the media backs them and attacks the conservatives. We went throught this last time with McCain, Romeny, Huckles, Guiliani etc. Don't you remember the "No More RINOs" during the 2008 election?

“Hes VP material....or perhaps a decent candidate for senator.”
How about using that Law Degree to practice law in the private sector?

even still those chicks would never give you the time of day and they’d recognize you were not from NY and would berate you till you cried like a little gurl and wet yourself.

Count on it, nobama will not make a concession speech. He will need to be dragged out of the Whiteyhut screaming
“Racists! I am the WON”.

Get ready for Perry / Palin ticket
2 largest states...2 large energy states
I like Chistie...but he has Muzzie and illegal alien issues too...
that all do...because pandering is “P” in politician
we need a person with
PROVEN executive experience...
sadly Bachmann doesn’t deliver...she is an honorable woman...executive she isn’t
MITT....burnt toast about to be pitched by the party
the rest will drift further behind with Perry in the race....add Palin and we have the contenders who will DOG Obama’s ass till election day
WE NEED THE CANDIDATES NOW to be dogging Obama’s ass...not each other...

LOL. I guess these people are really just running to be VP.

None of those beat Palin in brains, optimism, good looks, focus or conservatism, IMO.
Sure, she hasn’t been in the military or had extensive foreign policy experience, but what she has accomplished is striking. (See The Undefeated if you don’t know what I mean.)

He was whiny in Ames. Just plain mushy.

I expect that MN wishes now he was still governor. The one they have now sucks sewer water.
Sooo true!

Did anyone notice that yesterday in Iowa he was generally unable to look anyone in the eye while greeting them?
I noticed that, too, but that's kind of the way it is around here, at least, in the mid-state where I live. I call it the "looking at the corn" talk. It mostly happens with farmers, especially older farmers when you talk to them. I like to stand straight on with them and look them in the eye, but they'll shift to my side at an angle, and talk to you sideways, like they're looking out into their cornfield... (and usually the subject gets around to that, too)...So, I wonder if Pawlenty picked up some of that....not that I'm excusing it. I'm glad to see the RINO drop out.

Yup. Remember when Dick Cheney changed his residency from TX to WY?
