(08-13) 10:48 PDT McAllen, Texas (AP) --

My housekeeper and her husband flew to Mexico last Thursday instead of driving with their 3 boys. Some people that they know had a horrible experience driving back to Texas a few months ago.

They’ve been doing that for at least the last 2 or 3 years now.

It’s got to be a conspiracy by the airlines. Baracko and Napolitano say that the border is safer now than it ever has been. Who are you going to believe?

Soon, the NARCO’s will start taking out airplanes just to show people they are safe nowhere.

When I lived in CA, a lot of Mexicans always told me they were from McAllen, TX.

They did; until I mentioned I was born and raised in TX. LOL

So do they go from the airport directly to the lettuce fields?

I have often wondered why anyone would try sneaking across the border especially through the desert... when they could just fly in safely saying they are tourists... and then just stay.

The vast majority of people I’ve known from Mexico and other countries working here illegally did just that. While I think border security is important it is only a small part of a bigger effort.

It’s almost impossible to get a tourist visa if you’re from a third world country and not over 80 yrs old. You have to prove you own property, a stable job and that you have enough financial resources to not want to stay illegally in the US. Believe me, if it was easy to fly into America no one would be sneaking across the desert.

great point. our government routinely denies tourist visa, when most of them simply want to spend money to visit the USA.
(example: my fiance had her tourist visa denied, to simply visit. even with every State Department requirment met.)

yet we have sanctuary cities, actually prevented the deportation of known criminals here illegally.

and Texas and CA spend 17 and 21 billion a year on illegals.
