I'm new to FreeRepublic and I'm a bit confused about something that perhaps you can clear up for me. I see a lot of animosity directed toward Ron Paul and his supporters. Paul's personal life seems unimpeachable and his stand on most issues is solidly conservative. So why the animosity?

They probably would have, but I heard cut and run did not bring enough dope and most of his backers lost interest.
