I don't think she's savy at all. She's over played her hand.

She stepped all over the other candidates in Iowa for no reason. No reason to make enemies who may endorse you when they drop out.

Perry just gave a reaganesque speech, he gives every voter on the fence someone to vote for besides Palin, and there are alot.

If Palin gets in now, she is the one splitting the votes and giving Mitt the lead.

If she jumped in earlier it would be Perry who split the votes.

Prepare to watch her decline in stature and influence from here on out.

Oh she visited Reagans boyhood home ...yawn Perry was speaking.

She still may get in...yawn Perry is already in who needs her.

No, I agree. I think we're exactly in agreement.

It's the timing. Palin either never truly intended to run, OR, she waited too long and was beaten to the punch by Perry. Either way, he has moved in to the center stage.

A lot of her power derives from the fact that no one knows what she's going to do. The suspense is killing journalists and politicos everywhere, and it's kept her very prominent.

Now that Perry is in, he basically demolishes the need for Mitt (the "pro-business governor") and Palin (the "popular social conservative"). He's eaten up the ground that either Palin or Romney would need to take to advance, making it easier to pick off either of their supporters. By this time next month, unless a dramatic game changer occurs, Romney will be on suicide watch, and Palin will be looking at a Huckabee-like show on Fox.

Post of the day. I am sick or her. She is just trying to stay relevant. Her 15 minutes are over.

She (Palin) still may get in...yawn Perry is already in who needs her.

This nation needs her, that's who.

Perry is the classic professional politician who checks how the wind is blowing to see which way he should proceed. Hence he switched from demoncrapologist to Republican. He goes for the muslim vote, and the brown vote. Whatever it takes to get himself elected. So when Texas dumped Richards, he saw the light, and had a "calling."

Once again, he has another "calling," this time to be President. Anyone else got caller ID? I'd like to have that number on my contact list. I'll put it on speed dial.
