Perry leaves me with an uneasy feeling, as well. Just the process of his deciding whether to run or not got my attention. There were several hints that he was persuaded to do so. He gives the impression of someone without a deep set of convictions, or of being someone who is trying to conceal his true convictions.

Actually, I got the exact opposite impression. This is someone who DOESN’T want to be president, but who gradually realized that his country desperately needs him right now. This is EXACTLY the kind of candidate we need: a deeply principled man who reluctantly realizes that his country needs him.
Read up on the story of Cincinnatus, the general from the old Roman republic. That is the kind of leader that I think we desperately need right now.
Yup.
I think you’re both quite right.
Sobering.
Sigh.
The Marxist globalists are such successful artists at putting forward folks on all sides of the coin . . . as long as their big thumbs and jackboots are in control of said robots.
Read his books. I like the comments on the difference between Liberty and license in “On my Honor,” the book about the values of the boy scouts. http://www.amazon.com/dp/0979646227/ref=rdr_ext_tmb
